VICENTE'S NYC LOFT
Located in Midtown Manhattan, this sundrenched 3,000 sq ft loft is a blank canvas upon which Vicente regularly applies his art in various forms - moving his photography collection around (very few items are hung from the wall), introducing new pieces of furniture that he finds on his global travels or changing room layouts - and the openness of this loft allows just that.
In desiging this space, Vicente maintained the integrity of a loft - with all its quirks and individuality - with the addition of an architectural, spacious (450 sq ft) bath and dressing area and a new kitchen.
MONTAUK
Vicente calls his summer beach retreat on New York's Long Island his 'grown-up house' where everything has its place - sofas, tables and rooms - in stark contrast to his ever-changing Manhattan apartment.
Vicente has owned this house for over twenty five years and a gut renovation allowed him to incorporate big windows with views of endless rows of breakers stretching along the beach and out into the ocean, making it seem part of the casual decor inside. An outdoor pool and large backyard allow the lines between the cozy interiors and the lush garden to blur ensuring that outdoor entertainment is indulged in generously and often.
His photography collection continues in this home and Montauk is also where Vicente spends much of his time capturing new images or potting around the garden.
